MGC Men’s Basketball Sign New Warrior Player
(MGC Cochran Campus, April 08) Middle Georgia College’s Men’s Basketball Head Coach Scott Moe recently traveled to Chamblee High School near Atlanta to sign his first new player of the 2008-09 basketball season. Mark Yacklon, a 6’5” shooting guard has made his choice and plans to begin his college career at MGC.
Mark has played basketball since the age of 5 and now averages 13 pts per game. He has grown into a very dedicated player and knows what it takes to be a team player. Mark had several options when it came to deciding which college to attend but after meeting MGC’s coaching staff he felt this was the place for him. He likes the size of the campus and the proximity of the dorms to the classrooms. He will also be close enough to home that his family can attend his games and cheer him on as an MGC Warrior!
Mark has made several visits to the MGC campus and is excited about starting his classes and practice with the team. He has not decided on a major yet but knows that his grades and attendance are top priority.
Coach Moe has great expectations of his newest player, “Mark is a quality person whom we feel will contribute immediately to the MGC Basketball program in all areas.”
